At Just Live Better Kitchen, we're more than a meal prep company. We're a small team passionate about helping people live healthier through incredible food made from scratch.

We're looking for an experienced cook who doesn't just love cooking—but loves being part of a positive, hardworking team that's making a difference in people's lives.

If you're someone who takes pride in your craft, enjoys learning, and believes healthy food should be just as exciting as it is nutritious, we'd love to meet you.

Who You Are

You are someone who:

- Has extensive experience cooking a wide variety of foods and cuisines from scratch.

- Is confident in the kitchen and has strong cooking fundamentals, knife skills, and food preparation techniques.

- Is self-motivated and doesn't need someone looking over your shoulder. You see what needs to be done and take initiative.

- Has a genuinely positive attitude and enjoys coming to work each day.

- Is friendly, outgoing, respectful, and works well with a close-knit team.

- Values living a healthy, active lifestyle and believes in the importance of quality nutrition. (You don't have to be a bodybuilder—but we do want someone who genuinely connects with what we stand for.)

- Takes direction well, welcomes feedback, and is always looking to improve.

- Thrives in a fast-paced environment while staying calm, organized, and focused on quality.

- Takes pride in producing very high quality food that looks as good as it tastes.

What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing a variety of proteins, vegetables, sauces, soups, and sides from scratch.

Cooking rotating weekly menus with consistency and attention to detail.
Assisting with meal prep production and packaging.
Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and food safety standards.
Working closely with our Chef and Nutritionist to bring our menus to life.
Helping create meals that our customers genuinely look forward to eating every week.

We're a family-owned business located on the Oshawa/Whitby border. Every meal we produce is made from scratch using whole-food ingredients because we believe healthy eating should never feel like a compromise.
