Full job description

Overview

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receipt to shipment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us meet customer demands and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and logistics management.

Responsibilities

Safely operate equipment to load, unload, and transport appliances etc
Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management systems
Perform order picking and fulfillment tasks accurately to ensure timely delivery of products
Pack and package items securely for shipment while adhering to quality standards
Conduct inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organize warehouse storage areas for optimal efficiency
Support manufacturing or construction-related tasks by handling heavy lifting and assembly as needed
Maintain safety protocols during heavy equipment operation and ensure compliance with all safety regulations

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred, including familiarity with warehouse distribution processes
Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or order pickers is essential
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with shipping & receiving procedures and inventory management systems
Basic understanding of warehouse management systems and order fulfillment processes
Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
