Full job description

Are you passionate about coaching people to become stronger, healthier, and more confident? If you love leading high quality workouts and building genuine relationships with members, we'd love to meet you.

Sharif Fitness is a premium boutique fitness studio in Ajax specializing in small group strength and conditioning. We are looking for an experienced coach who can create an engaging, motivating, and welcoming training environment where members feel supported and challenged.

Responsibilities

Coach small group strength and conditioning classes.
Deliver safe, effective, and engaging workouts for all fitness levels.
Provide exercise modifications and progressions when needed.
Correct movement technique and prioritize member safety.
Motivate members while creating a fun and positive class atmosphere.
Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to deliver an exceptional coaching experience.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 1 year of group fitness coaching experience.
Current Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor certification from a recognized organization.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Mature, dependable, energetic, and professional.
Passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals.
Comfortable coaching groups of varying abilities.

Preferred Experience

Experience coaching strength training, functional fitness, circuit training, bootcamp style classes, athletic conditioning, or small group personal training is considered an asset.

Position Details

Part time.
Approximately 10/15 hours + per week
Weekday evening availability is required. (2-3 days)

Licence/Certification

Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor certification (required)
CPR/AED and First Aid Level 3 (C) (required)

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
