RPN – Clinical Data Quality Analyst

Position Overview
We are looking for a clinically experienced and highly analytical RPN/RN to join a growing clinical research organization as a Clinical Data Quality Analyst.
This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare professional who wants to move beyond traditional clinical care and play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of clinical research data.
In this role, you will review data collected following patient research visits, assess whether the information is complete and clinically meaningful, identify inconsistencies or gaps, and work closely with Study Coordinators to ensure research data is captured accurately and consistently.
Your clinical knowledge will be essential in understanding patient data such as vital signs, heart rate, blood pressure, weight, laboratory results, and other clinical measurements, while your analytical mindset will help ensure studies meet the highest standards of data quality.
What will you be doing?
- Review clinical data collected after patient research visits to ensure information is complete, accurate, consistent, and clinically appropriate.
- Analyze patient data including vital signs, heart rate, blood pressure, weight, laboratory results, and other clinical measurements.
- Identify missing, inconsistent, or potentially inaccurate information and follow up with Study Coordinators to obtain clarification or corrections.
- Assess whether Study Coordinators have captured sufficient and appropriate information to support the requirements of each research study.
- Ensure clinical data is collected and documented according to the study protocol, methodology, and established quality standards.
- Monitor data consistency across patient visits and identify trends, discrepancies, or recurring documentation issues.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and research teams to improve data collection processes and overall study quality.
- Review regulatory and study-related communications on a regular basis and ensure relevant information is appropriately identified and actioned.
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline repetitive tasks, including summarizing safety and regulatory communications while maintaining appropriate privacy and quality controls.
- Contribute to the development of more efficient data quality processes, reporting, and documentation standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations that help strengthen the clinic's research capabilities and support its ability to take on additional studies.
Must haves:
- RPN or RN designation with relevant clinical experience.
- Strong understanding of clinical terminology, patient information, and common clinical measurements.
- Experience working with or reviewing clinical data, patient records, research documentation, or clinical trial information is highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies or information that does not make clinical sense.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with Study Coordinators and clinical research teams to resolve data issues.
- Ability to follow established protocols, methodologies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple studies, priorities, and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline is an asset.
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
