Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food service operations, and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced hospitality setting. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is a plus . This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, kitchen operations, and hospitality services.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure health and safety compliance.
Organize and store clean dishes and utensils efficiently for easy access by kitchen staff.
Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment at all times.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen tidy.
Support other kitchen staff with additional duties as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Skills

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
Experience in restaurant or hospitality environments preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of food preparation and handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team within a busy kitchen setting.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the hospitality environment.

This role is vital in supporting our culinary team by ensuring a clean, safe, and organized kitchen that meets all health standards while providing excellent service to our guests.
