Meet Novus Automotive: In 2024, we launched a forward-thinking dealership brand that encompasses six dealerships across the Durham Region, including MFL. We are , dedicated to reshaping the relationship between dealerships and drivers by crafting seamless experiences that bring peace of mind to the road.

Position Overview:

At Marigold Ford Lincoln, our Licensed Technicians are an essential member of the service team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles to meet dealership and manufacturer standards. We are currently looking for a Licensed 310T/310S Technician who can ensure that all personal and commercial vehicles are serviced accurately, efficiently, and safely with exceptional attention to detail and comprehensive technical and mechanical expertise.

What You'll Do:

Conduct thorough inspections in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technology-based issues and complete repairs as outlined in repair orders.
Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission services, battery replacements, and headlight/taillight installations.
Work closely with Service Advisors and the parts department to provide clear and timely updates on repair status, provide updates on additional repairs needed or delays encountered, and verify parts availability.
Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines, ensuring accurate documentation to support warranty claims.
Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles to ensure proper functionality and quality of repairs; verify that vehicles are returned in clean condition, maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Stay up to date with technical skills and attend sponsored training classes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to dealership policies for workspace cleanliness.
Follow dealership safety procedures and Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, including the use of PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe footwear, etc.), regular tool and equipment inspection, and the identification and reporting of any hazards to management.
Perform other related duties as requested by management.

What You Bring:

A valid Truck and Coach Technician (310T) License and/or a valid Automotive Service Technician (310S) License.
A valid Ontario Class ‘G’ Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract is required.
2+ years of experience as licensed 310T/310S Technician, with a strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong organization and time-management skills
