Carpenters and Labourers – Victoria, BC

We are seeking experienced Carpenters, Apprentices and Labourers for our Victoria and area operations. Terms: Permanent, Full-time.

Location: Victoria, BC.

Salary:

$22.00 - $39.00/hour depending on experience.

Benefits:

Comprehensive benefits package available after 6 months. Includes dental, extended health, life insurance, long term disability and AD&D.
Pension plan for journeyman workers after waiting period.
Apprenticeships in Carpentry and Sheet Metal may be offered

Education:

Journeyman Carpenter ticket or equivalent.
Enrollment in recognized Carpentry apprenticeship an asset but not required for labourers

Experience:

At least 3 years’ experience for journeyman workers.
For labourers, previous experience considered an asset but all skill levels will be considered

Skills and Abilities:

Driver’s license considered an asset.
Own tools required
OFA Level 2 or 3 considered an asset
Must be able to communicate in English.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Rot repair, deck framing, window finishes, minor form work in residential and commercial settings, general carpentry, steel stud framing
Other duties as required.

Working conditions:

Must be able to work at heights and in all weather conditions.
