Job Overview:

Railtown Café & Catering is seeking a dedicated and reliable Steward to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals committed to maintaining high-quality standards in cleanliness and organization within our catering kitchen. You’ll have the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced environment that values hard work and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate the dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishware and kitchen equipment.

· Maintain the cleanliness of the dish area, washrooms, and common areas.

· Assist with the daily cleaning and upkeep of kitchen areas.

· Dispose of waste and recycling following sanitation standards.

· Support kitchen staff by organizing and restocking cleaning supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience is valued but not required; on the job training will be provided.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and initiative.
Strong organizational skills.

Schedule:

Full-time: 32 to 40+ hours a week.
Availability of a minimum of 4 weekdays is required.
Availability from 7:00 a.m. and/or to 7:00 p.m. is required.
Schedule may change based on needs of the business.
