Tiger Tool is a leading manufacturer of specialty tools and equipment serving the heavy-duty transportation industry. We are committed to precision, quality, and continuous improvement, and we're looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our growing manufacturing team.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory and support the efficient flow of materials throughout our manufacturing warehouse.

This position will be responsible for performing regular cycle counts, maintaining accurate bin locations and quantities, replenishing inventory, and ensuring the warehouse remains organized and materials are stored and flowing efficiently. The Inventory Control Specialist will work closely with Receiving, Shipping and Assembly teams to assist with other warehouse functions as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
Ensure inventory quantities and bin locations are accurate and properly maintained.
Monitor stock levels and replenish inventory as required.
Ensure materials are properly labelled, stored, and located in the correct bins.
Maintain an organized warehouse layout that supports efficient material flow and accessibility.
Identify and correct inventory, storage, and warehouse organization issues.
Ensure inventory movements and adjustments are accurately recorded in the ERP system.
Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels and identifying potential shortages.
Support physical inventory counts as required.
Work with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse staff to address inventory-related issues.
Help maintain clean, organized, and clearly identified inventory and storage areas.
Look for opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, material flow, organization, and warehouse efficiency.
Assist with receiving, picking, material handling, shipping, and other warehouse functions as needed.
Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely, where required.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in inventory control, inventory management, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of inventory control practices, including cycle counting, replenishment, and inventory reconciliation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Experience using an ERP or inventory management system is preferred.
Experience with Global Shop Solutions is an asset.
Comfortable working with computers and performing inventory transactions and data entry.
Ability to investigate discrepancies and follow issues through to resolution.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams.
Forklift experience or certification is an asset.
Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
