Full job description

Fabrications is a retail women's clothing shop in Duncan, BC dedicated to providing top notch customer service to our shoppers. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our collaborative work environment. We are looking for a bookkeeper with these same values.

Key Responsibilties:

Record financial transactions: Maintain and update all financial records, including income, expenses, invoices and payments
Reconcile Accounts: Perform regular reconciliation of bank statements, credit card statements and other financial documents to ensure the accuracy of records
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and monitoring outstanding invoices
Manage Payroll: Process payroll, ensuring all employees are paid on time and handle related tax filings
Financial Reporting: Generate monthly and annual financial reports
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and file PST and GST in a timely manner
Communication: Liaise with accountant at year end, providing necessary documentation and support. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Team Player: Will communicate and work well with other employees

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
