Full job description

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble mechanical and electrical components, inspect your work for quality, and test finished products to ensure they meet company standards.

If you enjoy hands-on work, have strong mechanical aptitude, and take pride in producing quality products, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Assemble parts, components, and sub-assemblies according to work instructions, drawings, blueprints, and production specifications.
Safely operate hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet specifications.
Test finished products and verify they meet quality standards.
Identify assembly defects or quality concerns and report them to the appropriate supervisor.
Assist with the fabrication of parts and components as required.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and maintain an efficient workflow.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company policies and safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or a related environment is considered an asset.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Familiarity with assembly and manufacturing processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production requirements.
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
