Job Title: Multi-Skilled Carpenter / Foreman
Location: Bradford, ON
Employment Type: Full-Time

About Us:
Diamond Decks is a well-established deck building company with a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and delivering exceptional results. We specialize in custom decks, fences, stone patios, and pool installation. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Multi-Skilled Carpenter / Foreman to join our growing team.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will bring a strong background in carpentry and construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage job sites efficiently from start to finish. You’ll work hands-on alongside the crew while overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with clients and team mates

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality carpentry work including framing, decking, railing, stairs
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of tradespeople and apprentices
Plan, schedule, and organize work to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and peers
Maintain accurate records of materials, progress, and site activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 10 years of experience in carpentry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and techniques
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding technical drawings
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Red Seal or equivalent trade certification is an asset
