Position Summary

EVOLV Digital Marketing is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Sales Consultant to join our Edmonton team. The successful candidate will be responsible for finding and converting qualified leads into long-term client relationships across our full portfolio of digital marketing, web development, and AI-enabled business solutions.

This role is well suited to a consultative sales professional with genuine technical fluency, someone who can lead a substantive discovery conversation, identify the right solution from a broad service catalogue, and manage the sales cycle through to close.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead qualification and discovery through proposal development and close
Develop comprehensive working knowledge of EVOLV's full service portfolio to identify opportunities across web development, search, advertising, AI solutions, and CRM
Collaborate with our strategy and development teams to scope solutions that are technically sound and commercially viable
Represent EVOLV within the Edmonton business community through networking events, trade shows, chamber functions, and referral relationship development
Prepare and present client proposals that align business objectives with recommended solutions
Maintain accurate and current records of all sales activity within the CRM
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Provide market intelligence and client feedback to inform service development and positioning

Required Qualifications

Applicants who do not meet the following minimum requirements will not be considered for this position. This role requires demonstrated technical fluency; candidates cannot effectively represent our services without it.

Demonstrated understanding of technology. Candidates must be able to engage substantively with unfamiliar platforms and technical concepts, not simply express a willingness to learn.
Fluency in digital marketing. Working knowledge of Web development, SEO, paid search, paid social, analytics, conversion funnels, attribution, and lead management is required.
Proficiency with web-based applications. Candidates must be comfortable speaking about CRM platforms, content management systems, reporting dashboards, AI tools, and Google Workspace, and more.
Minimum five years of sales experience, preferably within digital marketing, advertising, or related technology.
A verifiable record of closing business, including quota attainment and deals the candidate can discuss in detail.
Edmonton residency and willingness to represent EVOLV at business community functions.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong consultative discovery and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage a pipeline independently and without direct supervision
Active interest in artificial intelligence and emerging marketing technology
Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive base salary with an uncapped commission structure. On-target earnings for a consultant performing at expectations are $80,000–$100,000+ annually, with no upper limit.
