Full job description

Join the Monarch Dentistry Team! We are looking great Team Members to join our St.Catharine location. The ideal candidates for our clinic is a multi-tasker who values playing their part for the team. We are looking for someone who provides outstanding treatment to our valued patients.

Responsibilities:

Answer telephone calls from patients and address them respectively and in a friendly manager when they visit the clinic.
Schedule patient appointments and communicate schedule openings with the dentist.
Register new patients in line with acceptable standards of the clinic.
Help patients fill out medical forms at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information.
Explain clinical procedures and educate patients to help clarify any questions or concerns they may have.
Inform patients of in-house dental services offered by Monarch.
Ensure that patients are made aware of cancellation policies (2 business days notice).
Ensure that all patient files and documents are kept confidential and destroyed properly.
Respond to all patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner, including emails and phone calls.
Attends and actively participates in team meetings. Contributes to the team by working with clinical and administrative teams equally.
Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database.
Optimizes the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps.
Manage patient calls, handling inquiries, confirmations, and appointment amendments.
Manage potential cancellations and overcome objections.
Processes referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider.
Ensure all patient billings are accurate.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Experience as a dental office administrator / treatment coordinator.
Experience in optimization of scheduling patient appointments
Experience maintaining a professional level of patient privacy
Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends based on business needs.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Punctual and reliable
Excellent interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to adapt and respond to a variety of patients
Experience with Dental practice management software (such as Dentrix) is considered an asset
