We’re growing fast and we’re looking for a leader who can grow with us.

Job Summary

We are looking for a driven, high capacity leader to take on one of the biggest and most demanding roles in the Canadian automotive industry.
This is not a small store manager position. This is an opportunity to grow a newly acquired import dealership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance, growth and daily operations of the dealership. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, can lead large teams, hold people accountable, make tough decisions, and drive results across every department.
You will oversee Sales, Parts, Service, Finance & Insurance and Marketing while working closely with senior leadership to execute business strategy and growth plans.

What you'll be doing:

As the General Manager, You’ll lead store growth, building the team, the culture, and the momentum.

Leading the overall day to day operations of the dealership
Driving profitability, revenue growth and market share
Managing and developing department managers and leadership teams
Creating a strong culture of accountability, performance and customer experience
Ensuring departments are operating efficiently and hitting KPI targets
Managing staffing, hiring and coaching
Driving new and used inventory strategy and aged inventory management
Working with OEM partners and maintaining strong brand relationships
Leading marketing, events and promotional strategy alongside internal marketing teams
Ensuring operational consistency, process execution and strong communication across departments
Driving continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and employee engagement
Managing large scale operational challenges while keeping teams motivated and focused
Supporting long term strategic growth of the dealership and division

What we're looking for:

Proven leadership experience in a new car dealership, either as a general sales manager or general manager.
Strong financial and operational understanding
Ability to lead large teams in a fast paced environment
High level of accountability and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem solving abilities
Experience managing multiple departments and leaders
Ability to create momentum, energy and urgency within a team
Comfortable making difficult decisions and leading through challenges
Passion for cars and customer experience is considered a major asset
