Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with various tools and schematics. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle issues to ensure safety and optimal performance. This position offers an engaging work environment where technical skills and customer service excellence are valued. Preferred minimum 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced schematics and diagnostic tools
Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and operation of heavy machinery or equipment
Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately identify issues and solutions
Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to manufacturer specifications
Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients
Assist in the assembly or replacement of vehicle parts as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes is a plus
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic setting
Valid G licience required
This role is vital for maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of our clients’ vehicles while providing opportunities for professional growth within the automotive industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
