Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CPA or finance leader looking for a meaningful opportunity where your expertise will truly make an impact?

Reporting to senior leadership, the Corporate Controller will oversee a broad range of financial management responsibilities for a group of companies operating within the construction and property management sector. The role includes responsibility for financial reporting, consolidations, cash flow management, budgeting, and supporting operational decision-making across more than various legal entities and subsidiaries.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage the accumulation, review, and consolidation of financial information across multiple entities within the Group of Companies.
Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for individual properties and corporate entities.
Prepare consolidated financial reporting and supporting working papers.
Support treasury and cash flow management activities.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Coordinate year-end activities and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
Prepare and maintain working papers to support corporate income tax return preparation.
Evaluate accounting processes and internal controls, identifying opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
Provide financial information and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Work closely with the accounting team to support day-to-day operations and mentor team members where appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience

CPA designation required (or equivalent senior accounting designation).
Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
Previous experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior finance leader preferred.
Experience working with multiple entities and consolidated reporting environments is strongly preferred.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a professional and collaborative manner.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a relationship-focused approach.

Pay: $100,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
