Full job description

D&D Custom Steel Products Ltd is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a CNC machinist and programmer.

Responsibilities:

Setup, program and operate CNC Horizontal Boring Mills independently
Create and modify programs on machine control
Heidenhain controls
Read, interpret and understand engineering blueprints
Pre-inspect parts prior to metal removal process
Determine machining process and setups
Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions during machining process
Evaluate product quality and adjust programming as needed
Optimize programs for cycle time reduction and part quality improvement

Experience:

5 years’ experience working with medium to large precision components on CNC Horizontal Boring Mills
Experienced in machining medium to large sized castings
