We are currently looking for a Junior Overhead Door Technician to join our growing Service Team based out of our Stoney Creek branch. This is a field-based role where you'll work on overhead door systems which includes installation, troubleshooting, and service work for a wide range of commercial and industrial clients across the Hamilton and Niagara regions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Repair automatic and manual overhead doors at customer's facility
- Install and service commercial garage doors
- Read manuals and use resources to correctly perform repairs for different brands of doors serviced
- Maintain inventory on company service vehicle in order to effectively perform service calls
- Work efficiently in small teams to complete daily tasks and assignments
- Remain in contact with the Service Administrator daily
- Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekend work as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Basic understanding of the principals of hand tools and power tools
- Aptitude of technical and electromechanical repair skills are an asset
- Must have a valid G class driver's license
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing and able to work on a rotating on-call schedule when required
