Full job description

Nelson Homes located in High River, Alberta is looking for a Customer Service Representative. This is a full-time position with hours Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

Act as the primary point of contact for customers from contract signing through completion of the one-year warranty period.
Monitor customer milestones throughout the homebuilding process and ensure alignment with sales and construction schedules.
Coordinate and communicate key project milestones, including permitting, New Home Warranty requirements, foundation preparation, construction progress, home delivery, and project completion.
Facilitate communication between customers, moving companies, construction teams, and service departments to ensure a smooth home delivery experience.
Coordinate post-delivery inspections with the Service Team and communicate material or service requirements to the Construction Coordinator.
Ensure completion of post-delivery inspections and educate customers on warranty processes and expectations.
Manage customer communication and support throughout the one-year warranty period, including coordination of service work and warranty claims.
Assist the Sales Team with product and colour selections.
Facilitate a seamless transition from Sales to Operations following contract signing.
Coordinate customer changes and revisions after contract signing in collaboration with the customer and Construction Coordinator.
Maintain accurate project records and provide regular updates to internal teams and customers.
Assist with all aspects of Customer Service to ensure a positive experience with Nelson Homes.

The successful candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:

Be highly customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Be extremely organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to effectively manage priorities and deadlines.
Possess strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
Have experience in customer service, project coordination, or a related field.
Construction or residential homebuilding knowledge would be considered an asset.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems.
Be self-motivated, professional, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
