Full job description

Summit Plowing Inc. is a locally owned company that has been serving the Ottawa area for over 25 years. We specialize in aggregate hauling and construction services and operate a well-maintained fleet of dump trucks. We are currently seeking an experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team.

What We Offer

$30.00 to $36.00 per hour (based on experience and performance)
Steady local work
Day shifts Monday to Friday
Well-maintained equipment
Professional and supportive work environment

Requirements

Valid Ontario DZ driver’s license
3 to 5 years experience in the Ottawa aggregate industry required
Experience operating manual transmission dump trucks
Clean driver’s abstract
Strong knowledge of construction sites, aggregates, and safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Applications without Ottawa aggregate industry experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

Safe and efficient operation of dump truck
Transporting aggregates and materials to and from job sites
Performing daily pre-trip inspections and reporting issues
Maintaining clean and organized equipment
Following all road laws, site rules, and safety procedures
Communicating with dispatch and site supervisors

Additional Information

Based in the Ottawa area
Occasional extended hours during peak season
