Full job description

Are you looking for flexible work options, supplemental income, and the opportunity to travel? Irwin’s Safety delivers a broad range of safety services across Canada, supporting clients in industry, government, and First Nations communities. Our Advisory Services division provides safety advisors and coordinators on a project-by-project basis, and we are looking for experienced Construction Safety Officers to support this work.

This is casual, project-based work best suited for independent safety advisors, semi-retired safety officers, or those with flexible availability for multi-day deployments.

Qualifications:.

2+ years experience in construction industry as skilled trade, or a jobsite safety role
NCSO, provincial CSO certification, or a similar recognized safety designation.
Knowledge of construction safety regulations, hazard identification, inspections, incident investigation, and safe work procedures.
Strong communication, leadership, and record keeping skills
The ability to train workers and respond to incidents

Requirements:

Must have a valid CSO or NCSO certificate
Must have a minimum of 2 years CSO experience

Pay: $31.50-$35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
