Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Store Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the efficient operation of the store. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Maintain an organized and clean store environment, including restocking shelves and organizing displays.
Provide knowledgeable assistance on products, including technical sales support when necessary.
Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
Utilize effective phone etiquette when answering calls and assisting customers over the phone.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store appearance.
Familiarity with technical sales is advantageous for assisting customers with specific product inquiries.
A friendly attitude with strong interpersonal skills to foster positive customer interactions.
