Orangetheory coaches are responsible for delivering scientifically pre-designed workouts for up to 24 members per workout. We call our trainers, coaches. Why? ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of up to 24 members
Be inspiring! Need high energy and passion for exercise
Ensure safety of participants in regard to heart rate and exercise technique
Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels and existing injuries
Be able to coach a large population of skill sets from new to exercise to high level athletes
Work with sales team to create a seamless experience for signing up members
Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations
Handle member concerns when applicable

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
Ability to multi-task and stay organized
Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
Must hold current fitness certification from an Orangetheory approved education company such as CanFitPro, CSEP, NSCA, NASM or NFPT
Bachelor’s degree in an exercise related field is an asset – Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology and Fitness and Health Promotion
CPR/AED certification
1+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Flexibility with coaching mornings, evenings and weekends
