Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative/Legal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist paralegals in various tasks, including, drafting letters, documents, and managing case files. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Draft and proofread letters, emails and other documents as required
Assist in managing case files
Perform administrative tasks such as filing documents and maintaining organized records.
Communicate effectively with clients and witnesses, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Experience

Previous experience in a legal environment is preferred.
Familiarity with drafting letters and professional documents is essential.
Proficiency in administrative tasks and document management systems is necessary
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for effective collaboration.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently is crucial.
The successful candidate must be able to independently review file materials, identify relevant information, and accurately enter client details into legal software and documents.
