Job description: Front Desk Agent

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Front Desk Agent, where your energy and organizational skills will create a welcoming and efficient environment for clients, visitors, and staff alike. This role is vital in ensuring smooth front office operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a professional atmosphere. You'll be the first point of contact, representing our commitment to excellence and attention to detail. Whether managing multi-line phone systems or handling administrative tasks, your proactive approach will help foster positive interactions and streamline daily activities.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression at all times
Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, directing calls accurately and courteously
Handle data entry tasks efficiently using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant software
Maintain organized filing systems and manage document flow with precision
Perform clerical duties such as proofreading, scheduling appointments, and preparing correspondence
Support administrative functions including bookkeeping with QuickBooks or similar tools when necessary
Ensure the front desk area remains tidy, organized, and welcoming throughout each shift

Skills

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data entry software
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
Previous office experience with clerical or administrative responsibilities
Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus, especially dental receptionist or dental office experience
Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to perform typing quickly and accurately while maintaining attention to detail for proofreading tasks
Familiarity with bookkeeping tools like QuickBooks and general office procedures such as filing and record keeping
Demonstrated organizational skills combined with excellent customer support abilities to handle diverse responsibilities efficiently
