Surgenor Truck Group in Kingston, Ontario needs your help to meet consumer demand for quality vehicle service and repair by you joining our team as a full time Heavy Truck Parts Manager. We are a busy Mack/Volvo and Isuzu truck dealership who is committed to ongoing development of training paths for technical advancement. If you are an enthusiastic and customer-oriented individual with knowledge of Heavy-Duty Truck Parts, this could be the role for you! Requirements include: A leader who is productive and constantly looking for opportunities to improve Previous automotive industry-related experience is required Excellent organizational and customer service skills Possess a team mentality

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Inventory Management
Scheduling Staﬀing Management
Handling major ﬂeet account sales
Working with suppliers on marketing and parts pricing
Purchasing and marketing all-makes parts
Ensure staﬀ completes required training
Strategizing and optimizing road parts sales
Assist in the overall management of the department
Responding to tenders posted on Merx
Achieve expected gross profit percentage
Manage receivables
Promote accessories through innovative displays and promotions
Maintain range and depth of inventory while minimizing investment
Minimize aged stock on hand
Maintain a perpetual inventory process
Track and follow up on back-order parts
Direct and schedule the activities of all parts department employees
Develop and enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customers satisfaction
Preferred Education & Qualifications:
2 years of applicable experience in a similar role
Bilingualism is an asset
Excellent knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Ability to use various computer programs (CDK experience a deﬁnite asset)
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a fast- paced environment
