Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will perform a variety of general and specialized ultrasound examinations while delivering outstanding, patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including general, obstetrical, NT, gynecological, and other specialized studies as required
Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately
Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal results
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, assisting in preparing reports for radiologist interpretation
Adhere to infection control protocols and radiation safety standards (where applicable)
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, performing routine quality control checks
Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure seamless, efficient patient care
Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and foster a positive, supportive team environment

Qualifications

Registered and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) or Sonography Canada, depending on specialization
1–3 years of experience in a clinical ultrasound setting preferred (new graduates with strong clinical training are welcome to apply)
Proficiency in a range of ultrasound procedures and strong anatomical knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and patient-focused approach
Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to producing accurate, high-quality images
Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS
