Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations to provide an outstanding dining experience.

Duties

Oversee food preparation and cooking processes for both our Cafe and Catering.
Manage food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards across the restaurant
Lead restaurant management activities including scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining operational efficiency
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in team management activities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service management
Strong leadership with supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Skilled in team management, training, and staff development
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
Background in hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; barista experience or serving background is beneficial
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under pressure
Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively
