Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Seasonal Scale Clerk to join our team. This role involves weighing and recording weights of tomato deliveries (scaling in and out of the facility), communicating with the Ag Receiver to maintain the flow of deliveries being sent to the facility to unload, and interacting with tomato delivery drivers as needed.

Duties:

Operating scales to weigh incoming and outgoing loads.
Recording weight data into computer software systems.
Maintaining organized records.
Collaborating with other agriculture staff.

Requirements

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for recordkeeping and data entry tasks.
Basic math skills for weighing calculations, and data entry accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Strong communications skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work 7 days per week - 8 hours/day

This position plays a vital role in our tomato season. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and willing to learn all aspects of the role, making a positive contribution to our 2026 Tomato Season.

The timeline for this role is approximately August 17, 2026 to approximately October 11, 2026.
