Full job description

We're looking for an experienced Apprentice Level 3+ or Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our close knit team in Nisku. If you take pride in quality work, enjoy working alongside great people, and want to be part of a company that genuinely values its employees, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our internal fleet of heavy duty tractors and trailers, supporting the safe and dependable operation of our fleet.

Rotation:

3 weeks working Monday–Wednesday (12 hour shifts)
1 full week off ("long change")
3 weeks working Thursday–Saturday (12 hour shifts)
1 day break on Sunday ("short change")
Repeat

Duties: Including but not limited to;

Performing diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on internal fleet of highway trucks and trailers.
CVIP inspections.
Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs and maintenance.
Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities.
Testing and inspecting vehicles to ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications and applicable standards.
Perform related work as required.

Qualifications:

H.E.T. On-Road Apprentice Level 3+ or Journeyman's certificate with Red Seal.
3 years' experience as a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic.
Possess valid class 5 driver's license. *(Class 1 or 3 - with airbrakes considered an asset).
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Proficient with MS Office applications and basic computer functions.
