Job Overview

We are seeking a licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all makes and models of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with specialized tools and machinery required, and excellent team skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse automotive and repair.

Duties

Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles
Conduct maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical system troubleshooting.
Utilize schematics, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately.
Repair or replace necessary components, including, welding, all mechanical skills, or specialized assembly techniques required.
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Assist in the operation of equipment when required for maintenance or repair tasks.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly to clients when required.

Skills

Proven experience in automotive repair shop
Skilled in welding, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and mechanical repairs.
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for diagnostics and repairs.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems including electrical systems and powertrain components.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with heavy machinery or industrial equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Customer service orientation with clear communication skills.

This position is ideal for individuals with diverse mechanical skills seeking a challenging role in automotive environment.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
