Position Required: Landscape Crew Leader
Start Date: Immediately
Location: 1915 Fanshawe Park Road West, London, Ontario, N6H 5L3
Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Advertised Wage: $23.50 to $30 per hour
Job Duties:
· Mulching, planting and sod installations
· Softscape and hardscape installations
· Fence and deck
· Spring/Fall clean up’s
· Lead and organize a 2/3 member team
· Organize daily schedule and route
· Oversee morning and evening loading of vehicles and trailers including daily inspections reports
· Conversing with clients
· Ensure the quality of work is up to standard and eliminate the need for return visits
· Complete daily log forms and site check lists
· Ensure fellow crew members are following safety procedures and PPE is being worn properly
Work Conditions:
· Residential and commercial sites
· Housekeeping tasks on lot and at shop
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Outdoor work in various weather conditions
Job Capabilities:
· Efficient worker, highly motivated
· Must have previous landscaping experience
· Personable to clients and other employees
· Strong organization, leadership, and communication skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Certified designation is an asset (Horticulture Tech or Landscape Design)
· Construction/carpentry experience is an asset
· Mechanical/equipment repairs/maintenance is an asset
· G class driver’s license is required and previous experience driving with trailers
· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Will depend on previous experience and training
