On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a current opening for a Quality Engineer for their London location.

*Must be available to start right away*

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00am

Wage: $75,000 - $90,000

Job Responsibilities:
- Identify areas for quality assurance improvement at the source and support implementation of new methods accordingly
- Monitor process, product, and quality system performance in accordance with the applicable product standard and procedures
- Determining customer requirements on assigned programs and obtaining acceptance and limit samples.
- Responsible for communicating customer requirements and standards within the organization
- Support all departments in First Article / PPAP data collection and submission, new launch capability studies, as well as any additional support as requested. Develop Core Tools documentation (PFMEA, Control Plan, PFD)
- Participate in the APQP process to ensure feasibility of the design and process to produce the product as specified
- Participate or Champion cross-functional team activities, including customer, internal, and supplier corrective and preventive actions.
- Interact with customers and suppliers as required to carry out requirements and expectations.
- Coordinate and participate in dimensional evaluation of parts using appropriate gauges and fixtures
- Perform tasks on the shop floor that will include:
Inspection of incoming materials, in-process inspection and final goods inspections, ensuring all Code requirements are met and record retention is kept;
- Train operators and quality inspectors to perform in-process and final inspections.
- Maintains and organizes calibration of Equipment and Gauges

Qualifications:

3 - 5 years of experience in quality control or engineering in a manufacturing environment
Personal commitment to high-quality standards. Strong communication skills and an ability to formulate positive interpersonal relationships.
Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to fit into a very dynamic team.
Strategic thinker, detail oriented and effective problem solver.
Self starter attitude with a hands on approach to their work.
Excellent planner and implementer with the ability to make things happen
Capable of managing multiple assignments concurrently, moving swiftly and decisively, but collaboratively and effectively with others.
Ability to promote a culture of innovation and keep employees positively motivated.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, specifications, standards, etc
Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written,
Proficient in Microsoft Office – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Good troubleshooting and communication skills
ISO 9001:2015 auditor training would be an asset
