Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. This role involves both cooking and dishwashing responsibilities, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
Support the kitchen team by stocking supplies and organizing workstations.
Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is required.
Experience working in a kitchen setting, including serving and meal preparation, is a plus.
