MUST DRIVE STANDARD

We are seeking a skilled AZ/DZ Drivers to join our team in Toronto.

This role is essential in supporting our civil construction projects by transporting materials safely and efficiently. As part of Powerline Plus, you will contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier infrastructure solutions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A minimum of three years’ experience as a heavy truck driver in an urban area
Valid Ontario Driver’s License class AZ or DZ license with clean abstract required
Must have Redimix experience 3+years minimum
Physically capable of meeting the job requirements; ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds or more, standing for extended periods, sitting for extended periods, kneeling, squatting etc.
Must be able to work outdoors in adverse conditions such as: heat exposure, cold temperatures, rain, snow etc.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Driver role includes but not limited to following duties:

Transport materials to various job sites throughout the GTA
Maintain constant communication with Civil Foremen and Civil Supervisors to ensure timely pick up and delivery of material to various job sites
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections
Oversee all aspects of the vehicle including but not limited to: observing and reporting any necessary maintenance and servicing, monitor the condition of equipment and reporting any incidents
Follow all laws, rules and regulations as per the Highway Traffic Act and Ministry of Transportation
