Full job description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Painter to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional painting experience, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves residential and/or commercial painting projects with a focus on quality workmanship and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming)
Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, tape, and masking
Ensure clean and professional finishes on all projects
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Follow safety procedures and job site guidelines
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of painting experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
Ability to work at heights (ladders/scaffolding) when required
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Strong work ethic and reliability
Some skimming/taping experience is a plus
