Le commis aux comptes payables sera responsable de la gestion complète du cycle des comptes payables au sein d’une entreprise en croissance dans l’industrie réglementée du cannabis. Le poste exige une rigueur exceptionnelle, un grand souci du détail et la capacité de travailler de façon autonome tout en étant un bon joueur d’équipe.

Responsibilités

Gérer l’ensemble du cycle des comptes payables : réception, vérification, codification, approbation et traitement des factures fournisseurs.
Effectuer le suivi et la « chasse » aux factures en suspens auprès des fournisseurs.
Enregistrer les factures et les paiements dans notre système ERP (NetSuite – formation sera fournie) et dans le grand livre général.
Traiter et enregistrer les achats par carte de crédit via la plateforme Float.
Participer aux rapprochements bancaires mensuels.
Fournir un soutien occasionnel aux tâches liées aux comptes clients (facturation et suivi des recouvrements).
Préparer et concilier les rapports mensuels liés aux dépenses et aux engagements.
Assurer le respect des politiques comptables, des contrôles internes et des exigences réglementaires de l’industrie du cannabis.
Effectuer toutes autres tâches comptables connexes demandées par le contrôleur corporatif.

Exigences

Maîtrise professionnelle complète du français et de l’anglais parlé et écrit (bilingue – exigence obligatoire) : communication fréquente avec les fournisseurs, les collègues et les équipes internes dans les deux langues
Minimum de 2 à 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en comptabilité, idéalement en comptes payables
Bonne connaissance des systèmes comptables (expérience avec NetSuite ou tout autre ERP est un atout – formation sera fournie)
Excellente rigueur, souci du détail et compétences organisationnelles
Capacité à travailler de manière autonome tout en étant un bon joueur d’équipe.

Atouts :

Expérience dans un environnement réglementé ou dans l’industrie du cannabis.
Connaissance des principes de contrôle interne et de conformité.

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle in a fast-growing, regulated cannabis production environment. The role requires exceptional accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Manage the complete accounts payable cycle: receipt, verification, coding, approval, and processing of supplier invoices.
Chase and follow up on outstanding invoices with suppliers.
Record invoices and payments in our ERP system (NetSuite – training will be provided) and in the general ledger.
Process and record credit card purchases through the Float platform.
Participate in monthly bank reconciliations.
Provide occasional support on accounts receivable tasks (invoicing and collections follow-up).
Prepare and reconcile monthly expense and commitment reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and cannabis industry regulatory requirements.
Perform any other accounting-related tasks as requested by the Corporate Controller.

Requirements

Full professional proficiency in both spoken and written French and English (bilingual – mandatory) – frequent communication with suppliers, colleagues, and internal teams is required in both languages.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in accounts payable.
Good knowledge of accounting systems (experience with NetSuite or any other ERP is an asset – training will be provided).
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.

Assets:

Experience in a regulated environment or in the cannabis industry.
Knowledge of internal controls and compliance principles.
