Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, specializing in automotive and dealership painting projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with automotive repair and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on vehicles. A background in dealership environments and familiarity with various hand and power tools will be highly valued. The position offers opportunities for growth within a professional setting focused on precision and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns or brushes, maintaining consistent quality standards
Use hand tools and power tools to assist in surface preparation and minor repairs
Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move vehicles or equipment safely
Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition for efficient workflow

Skills

Dealership experience or automotive painting background is preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and repairs
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Experience with automotive repair processes is a plus
Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
