Full job description

Ledingham GM in Steinbach, MB is looking to hire a full-time receptionist. This position is for weekdays.

As the first point of contact for the store, this position requires someone with a positive, friendly attitude, and a high level of professionalism. You must enjoy a fast-paced work environment and be able to provide quality customer service.

Basic responsibilities will include:

Answering incoming telephone calls, screen and direct them
Take and relay messages
Greet people coming into our business and direct them to the appropriate contacts or services
Receive and sort mail and deliveries
Receive payments for goods and services and issue receipts
Miscellaneous administrative and clerical duties as required

Qualifications, Experience, and Aptitude:

Switchboard experience an asset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
Knowledge of business machines, cash register, interact
Working knowledge of Excel
Ability to multi-task, work independently, and make decisions
Punctual
