Job Title: Industrial Mechanic Maintenance

Location: Scoudouc, NB

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
Perform welding, fabrication, and machining as needed.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff, production staff, and outside contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance projects.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment maintenance history through maintenance logs
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics as needed.
Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Requirements:

Technical diploma or certification in industrial mechanics preferred.
Proven experience as an industrial mechanic, or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, HVAC, and general plumbing.
Knowledge of woodworking and millwork equipment is an asset.
Have a working understanding of electrical circuitry and electronic controls.
Electrical and electronics controls experience and accreditations are assets.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety practices in an industrial environment.
Must be willing to wear PPE when required (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hard hat, etc.)
Fall arrest training (an asset)
Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime.
Fluent in English
Fluent in French (an asset)
Red Seal Millwright (an Asset)
