Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience in the pizza shop. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to creating delicious pizzas and providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality pizzas while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to recipes and quality standards
Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate methods and equipment
Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Assist in food preparation for other menu items as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Serve customers promptly and courteously when required
Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Requirements

Previous experience in pizza preparation, cooking,
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Strong attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
Basic understanding of the food industry standards for quality and safety
