Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor (Contract-based) to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage a team of warehouse staff, and ensure seamless coordination across supply chain processes. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize warehouse workflows, and uphold the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where proactive management and strong organizational skills make a real impact.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse activities including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a collaborative environment focused on efficiency and safety.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as SAP or AS400, and other computer software to track inventory levels, process orders, and generate reports.
Coordinate with logistics providers such as 3PL partners to streamline distribution processes and optimize supply chain flow.
Implement process improvements aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing errors, and increasing overall operational efficiency.
Oversee safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits while maintaining meticulous records of all transactions.

Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus.
Proven experience supervising warehouse teams within manufacturing or e-commerce environments.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like SAP or AS400, and 3PL logistics coordination.
Ability to operate forklifts safely; heavy lifting capability required for handling large or bulky items.
Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on process improvement and continuous enhancement initiatives.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Knowledge of supply chain principles, order picking procedures, packaging requirements, and warehouse distribution strategies.
Competence in using Windows-based computers for data entry, report generation, and process analysis.
Experience with purchasing processes, inventory control, and e-commerce fulfillment operations.
