Full job description

At Providence Therapeutics, we Ignite the Cure Within. We are a clinical stage Canadian mRNA company focusing on getting the best quality vaccines to the places that need it most. We have three openings for Research Interns (8-12 month term) with a June 2026 start date. These positions are available in Calgary, AB.

How we plan on keeping you busy:

Act as a key contributor to a team responsible for developing, improving, and qualifying analytical methods.
Execute routine testing with established methods.
Accurately collect and enter data into databases.
Support the preparation of lab reports and other documentation.
Support maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with GMP and internal quality standards.
Assist in training coordination, maintaining training records, and tracking completion in the learning management system.
Prepare draft statistical reports and summaries from data collected Grow your technical skill set and engage in professional development

What will help you get here:

Must be enrolled as a post-secondary student during the work term.

Eligible for BioTalent Canada SWPP funding.

Familiar with standard analytical lab practices and techniques.

Strong background and interest in molecular biology, biochemistry, and chemistry.

Strong computer skills: Knowledge of data analysis techniques and software is a strong asset.

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
