Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for the analysis of omics datasets (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, etc.).
Process, analyze, and interpret high-throughput biological data.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including biologists, data scientists, and IT specialists.
Integrate diverse datasets to support biomarker discovery, target identification, and drug development.
Ensure quality control, reproducibility, and documentation of analyses.
Present complex data and insights in a clear and actionable format to scientific and non-scientific stakeholders.
Requirements:
Master’s or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field.
Proven experience in bioinformatics within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or research setting.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Bash.
Familiarity with public biological databases (e.g., NCBI, Ensembl) and tools (e.g., Bioconductor, Galaxy).
Strong understanding of molecular biology, statistics, and data visualization.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary team.
