Duties

Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
Perform welding using techniques such as SMAW, fusion welding, and spool welding
Work with materials including aluminum alloys, steel, and heavy metals
Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and bending equipment
Use CNC machines for precision fabrication tasks
Set up, monitor, and shut down robotic welding production lines
Perform custom fabrication, machinery repair, and factory assembly work

Responsibilities

Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and technical specifications
Interpret welding process requirements accurately before starting tasks
Inspect completed welds and identify defects or inconsistencies
Maintain welding, brazing, and soldering equipment, including minor repairs
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Handle materials safely, including lifting and moving heavy items when required
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Demonstrate attention to detail, manual dexterity, and strong hand-eye coordination
