Thread Collective, Inc (TCI) is a privately-owned global designer, manufacturer and distributor of apparel. TCI has earned its reputation as a leading North American force in the design, development and distribution of a full range of apparel and accessories. We market products for all genders, to all retail tiers - from mass market merchants to high end department stores, specialty boutiques and sporting goods retailers.

Position Summary:

We are currently looking for an experienced Designer with a background in Fashion & Graphic Design to join our Creative Team.

You will use your talents and industry experience in supporting the business growth of Outerwear, Athleisure, Yoga or fishing wear segment.

Need to be able to do/work with artworks/graphics, fabrics knowledge is essential.

This role is a permanent role with benefits.

Responsibilities include:

Create, develop and edit detailed technical graphic packages, including detailed technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator and Technical trims
Create Production artwork Tech packs
Create CADS for customers
Strong knowledge of garment constructions from categories such as jersey, fleece, denims.
Ability to manage changing priorities to keep on track to meet established deadlines
Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and focus on key strategies to support the objectives of the division.
Work closely with the fit and spec / technical team to ensure the styling and quality from development stage of each product to final production.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role
A diploma in Fashion Design and/or graphic design.
Bilingualism (English and French) an asset.
Strong communication skill and organized
Must be able to work autonomously and with little supervision.
Be able to work at a fast pace.
Strong time management skills and work well under pressure, Ability to multitask & meet tight deadlines.
Must be a team player.
Strong knowledge of all finishing, technics, fabrics and trims
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop & Microsoft Office in a Mac environment is a must.
Flexible, opened mind and fast learner.

Designer Graphique Technique

Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un (e) designer avec une aptitude en Design de Mode & Graphique dans notre équipe créative.

Vous utiliserez vos talents et votre expérience du secteur pour soutenir la croissance commerciale des segments des vêtements d'extérieur, des vêtements d'athlétisme, des vêtements de yoga ou des vêtements de pêche.

La position est située à Ville Saint Laurent. Ceci s’agit d’un poste permanent avec avantages sociaux.

Responsabilités :

Créer, développer, et mettre à jour des dessins techniques avec Adobe Illustrator et Technical trims
Création de dossier technique
Créer des fichiers CADS pour les clients;
Connaissances solides des différentes catégories de produits, comme le jersey, le molleton, le denim;
Capacité à gérer les changements de priorité pour respecter les délais définis
Collaborer avec différents services pour garantir une harmonisation et se concentrer sur les stratégies clés afin de soutenir les objectifs de la division;
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe de technologie du conditionnement physique/technique afin de garantir stylisation et qualité, du développement de chaque produit à sa production finale;

Qualifications :

Au moins cinq années d’expérience dans le secteur des vêtements techniques pour hommes
Détention d’un diplôme en création de mode
Bilingue (anglais et français), un atout
Excellentes compétences en communication et sens de l’organisation
Aptitude à travailler en autonomie avec peu de supervision
Capacité à suivre une cadence de travail soutenue
Solides compétences en gestion du temps, capacité à travailler sous pression et à faire plusieurs choses à la fois en respectant des délais serrés
Avoir l’esprit d’équipe
Connaissances solides de toutes les techniques, finitions, garnitures et tous les tissus
Des connaissances avancées d’Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop et Microsoft Office dans un environnement Mac sont indispensables
Flexibilité, ouverture d’esprit et capacité à apprendre rapidement.
