Full job description

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain all facility equipment
Complete building maintenance, includes lighting, furniture, plumbing, etc.
Machine repair and installation, includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatics.
Maintain and repair small tools (deburring tools, small hand tools, etc.)
Perform regular routine maintenance on all machinery, includes oil / coolant changes, machine cleaning, filter changes, etc.)
Maintain inventory of supplies, includes oils, coolants. Parts and janitorial.
Required to assist other departments when requested
Forklift driving
Must be capable of working with the following machines and equipment:
All basic hand and power tools
Some tool room equipment (mills, lathes, etc.)
Basic test equipment
Welding environment
Other duties may be assigned as required.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Obtain Enhanced Security Clearance from the Government of Canada
Maintenance of secure and confidential company information
Adherence to Colt Canada Corporation’s policies and procedures
Must ensure all health and safety requirements for equipment and maintenance are adhered to.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5 years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Industrial Millwright Certification 433A
Certified 309A or 442A Electrician is preferred
Experience with CNC machines and other machine shop equipment.
Troubleshooting and repair (electrical, electronic, and mechanical).
Able to do mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical / electronic troubleshooting.
Able to read blueprints –electrical / mechanical.
Basic carpentry / plumbing skills.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Willing to learn and train in other areas of the maintenance field.

Be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance under the Contract Security Program (CSP), as required for the role
