Full job description

BizLink elocab Ltd. is a cable and harnessing manufacturing firm with branches throughout the world. This has made us a sought-after partner and development supplier to leading international industrial companies. BizLink elocabl Ltd. (“BizLink Canada”), is located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and provides custom designed cable solutions for the Industrial and Healthcare markets.

Due to ongoing growth we are currently looking for Shipper/Receivers to join our Kitchener, Ontario team.

Responsibilities:

Bulk cable rewinding, testing and quality checks. This entails using specialized rewinding machine to rewind the cable to customer specifications and visual inspection.
Conduct 5S principles on the work area.
Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Warehouse or Shipping/Receiving experience an asset
Forklift experience required
Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred
Able to work shifts
Team player
Fluency in English. Other languages considered an asset
Able to work with Microsoft Office tools e.g. Excel, Word.
Basic understanding of electrical circuit considered an asset

Misc. Information:

Hourly Wage: $21.00/hour; increases to $22.00/hour after completion of 3-month probationary period.
