Personal Lines Insurance Advisor Downtown Penticton, BC

Location: 414 Ellis Street, Penticton, BC

Job Summary

Johnston Meier Insurance has a position available for a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor at our Ellis Street office in our Penticton office. If you have a General Insurance Level 2 License or a Level 1 and are willing to learn plus at least one year of insurance office experience, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to our clients
New quotes on all Personal Lines types of business
Provide renewal terms and optional quotes
Update evaluators when necessary
Coverage for Auto Insurance when required.
Offer additional products to provide Complete Customer Portfolios
Keep detailed notes on our Computer System at all times (Paperless Environment)
Keep abeyances updated and current
Accounts Receivable

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Level 1 Insurance license and willing to earn a Level 2
Level 2 General Insurance Salesperson License preferred
At least one year of insurance office experience
Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers, and team members
Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service
Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
Company Portal knowledge is an asset
Computer skills, including working knowledge of Word & Excel

Start Date: TBD
